Lean To Conservatories
Bespoke & Budget
The simplified rectangular shape of lean to conservatories allow them to be flexible enough to suit a wide range of property styles.
Due to the plane flat angled roofing, this type of conservatory works well with bungalows.
2 types of appearance are common:
- full glass sides
- part glass, part “dwarf walls” (can include corner pillars)
You may find that some homeowners choose to have the sides solid rather than glazed, as it can give more privacy if the room is close to a neighbor boundary.
Infill panels can be used instead of solid brickwork, it provides the same privacy levels, but is less expensive and takes less time to construct. The infill panels can be uPVC, composite or even obscured glazed panels.
Floor level glass must be toughened, tempered or laminated for safety reasons.
