The first thing is to decide which type of room you want or which design will suit your circumstance better, not every home has enough room for an Orangery. So what choices are there in order to find the cost of competitive conservatory prices for 2020 and your new home extension?
Conservatory Design Choice
If you are “tight for space” then you could find that Lean-to conservatories or a small sun-rooms will be a good choice. Both have simple designs and can be fitted into areas where space is at a premium. You can find plenty of 3 x 3 lean to conservatories (that’s about 10ft x 10ft) in the market at very competitive prices.
If you have more room then you could be looking at a period conservatory such as Victorian, Edwardian. Alternatives that can also suit are “P-shape, L-shape or T-shape” room. These designs look out of balance if you try to squeeze them into a small space. These styles need to be at least “mid-size” to look right.
For those lucky enough to have plenty of room and a decent budget, building an Orangery conservatory is an excellent option. Individually designed to each customers preferences, Orangeries represent the “high-end” of the conservatory market. But, they don’t come cheap and will often require planning permission, due to the size of the room itself.
