More Conservatory Designs & Styles:
If you want to consider an alternative to the Lean-to Conservatory style then here is a quick guide to some of the other Conservatory Designs that are available.
Victorian conservatories:
The Victorian Conservatory is easily identified by its ‘circular’ faceted appearance & fancy roof-lines. With a typical example having 5 or 6 facets, it is probably more suited to medium or large rooms because the odd shaped floor plan can make the room a bit challenging to fit furniture into if it is too small. Victorian Conservatories are ideally suited to double opening French doors because they open outwards.
Edwardian Conservatories:
With square or rectangular floor plans, Edwardian Conservatories feature flat sides and angled roofs that can also be quite ornate with fancy ridge lines. The roof is normally ‘hipped’ which gives the interior greater headroom. They look good when installed with brick dwarf walls.
